FALLECE JUAN COLOM legendary photographer of the 1960s in EL RAVAL as my true idol of photo art.
As a boy my father confronted me with the joy and passion for photography. ROLLEI & LEICA were his noble tools it required photographic know-how without high tech, which is also used in photography today.
Even today, "the eye" of the photographer does not replace technology. recognize the moment. react quickly, capture the big moment. visualization, mental conversion from real time to image. I let light & shadow work. catch the moment and freeze it photographically.
black / white, the contrast in itself, I work with this reduced "2-color" technique. tech. image processing features are not used in my work
FALLECE JUAN COLOM legendary photographer of the 1960s in EL RAVAL as my true idol of photo art.
focus way of life:
everything about life in the city. corners & edges. architecture, art & culture, events, club culture, music the mix of those who live here in all facets. the way you, he, she, it live, in harmony and the presence of the metropolis
focus urban life:
urban lifestyle and its various social structures. the "colorful" side of the city in its structure of steel, glass, concrete, gardens and parks. street art, architecture. Shine & gray smooth in the depths of the suburbs as well as in the structures of the city center.
focus society:
who lives how. who connects with whom - where. social hot spots. meeting of the proletariat, the simple, the middle class and those of the above average equipped.
I manage motions and communication through my photography. capture the moment spontaneously. with the open eye in the right place, at the right moment. Let the photo - the "frozen moment" - speak. black / white in expression. +/- the opposites, the dynamics, the contrast that we encounter every day in life.
the "object of desire" doesn't always have to be beautiful and perfect. my motifs are characterized by sharp edges, precise surfaces and opulent shapes.
stronger i combine photography & electronic music in coordination. the city's clubs as a pulse and heartbeat. a mélange that inspires me anew every day. to work creatively and to generate positive feedback from the beholder, to communicate creative images with passion.
